Roof Leakage Protection Technology

Roof Leak Protection metal deck overlay system can cover a leaking roof entirely, bringing rainwater to existing drains. Instead of removal and replacement with another built-up bituminous roof, having a 20 year warranty you just found void when it leaked 10 years later, cover it over completely with a real 30-year warranty.

CRRT's price for "Z" sleepers and metal deck with penetration flashing is only 2/3rds that of removing and replacing bituminous roofs, but it rapidly pays back all costs with BTU energy savings in winter and summer. The re-circulated air pocket enclosed beneath the cool Kynar colored metal deck is the best insulation money can buy.

Industrial metal deck panels coated with lifetime finishes are laid on top and joined to be watertight. The panels are sloped to lead water into existing building drain systems and shop cut to fit venting, pipe and electrical systems as closely as possible.

The trough openings near vent panels will be sealed and made watertight. All vent penetrations are surrounded on all sides by a sloping enclosure. They are joined to the metal panels with sealant beads. Bent zee roof sleepers are fabricated to heights that set new metal roof slopes and connect the existing roof to the new metal panels.

The sleepers also act as structural reinforcements to the metal panels and additional weights. The existing penetrated roof is first plotted and measured to ensure a correct fit. This can be done without removal of the existing roof, cutting labor costs.
