Metro serves as a transportation planner, coordinator, designer, builder, and operator for one of the country’s largest and most populous counties. Metro is responsible for building, operating, and maintaining billions of dollars in transportation infrastructure including light and heavy rail transit lines, bus rapid transit routes, and highways that serve approximately 9.6 million Angelenos.
