KKCS Appoints Brett Rekola, PE/PLS as Director of Program Management

Kal Krishnan Consulting Services, Inc. (KKCS), is pleased to announce the appointment of Brett Rekola, P.E./PLS as Director of Program Management. With over 34 years of experience in project and program management, Mr. Rekola has delivered civil, rail, port, and public works projects and programs at leading firms in the industry.

KKCS enthusiastically welcomes Brett to the KKCS family of professionals. Bretts expertise will be invaluable in serving our transit and transportation clients throughout the country.
“I am very excited to bring someone of Brett’s caliber to KKCS. His leadership and experience will be instrumental as we continue to grow, especially in the Southern California market,” said Kal Krishnan, president of KKCS.
Prior to joining KKCS, Brett served as Chief of Rail Operations at North County Transit District (San Diego County) and program manager for global engineering firms. Brett has worked with such clients as OCTA, MBTA (Boston), FTA, and Amtrak.

Brett holds a diploma in General Business Studies from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Connecticut. Additionally, he is a registered professional engineer in California, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Brett has published and presented for both the APTA Rail Conference and AREMA Rail Conference.
“It’s great to be back in the consultant side of the industry and to help KKCS win projects,” Brett Rekola said.
