KKCS Opening Boston Office

Kal Krishnan Consulting Services, Inc. (KKCS), one of California’s leading program management, construction management and engineering design service firms, has expanded the practice into the Northeast. The firm recently opened a Boston, MA office located at 470 Atlantic Avenue.

The office provides clients with program and construction management services as part of its comprehensive general engineering consultant role.

The firm established in 1987 and based in Oakland now has 5 regular and many on-site project office locations throughout the country, employing 85 full-time professionals. KKCS is a certified DBE/SBE firm.

Currently, KKCS is working on a variety of projects, including subway, and light rail expansions in Boston with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). Associate Vice President Gary Gordon, PE, will be responsible for daily management of the new office. As the former surface transportation security SME/lead for TSA’s South Central Region, Mr. Gordon has vast experience in transportation safety and security consultancy in the realms of freight rail, rail transit, and passenger rail. Additionally, as a native Mr. Gordon has worked in the transportation industry in Boston and New England and possesses an institutional knowledge of projects and the transportation providers.

KKCS provides program management, construction management, and engineering design services that include project controls, estimating, value engineering, risk management, scheduling, inspection services, structural design, civil design, electrical design, and mechanical design.
