LA Metro - Regional Connector Project
Alison Williams currently serves as Cost/Schedule Analyst on LA Metro’s Regional Connector project in downtown Los Angeles. The 1.9-mile Metro Rail extension will provide a one-seat ride from Azusa to Long Beach and from East Los Angeles to Santa Monica. It is just one of many projects under KKCS’ prime Program Management Support Services contract with LA Metro. Alison has been with the firm since December 2018.
Alison’s professional strengths include analyzing numbers and sequencing activities; developing reports; and collaborating with colleagues. She utilizes logic and efficiency to constantly assess her performance and modify her approach to scheduling. Prior to KKCS, Alison served as Project Schedule Analyst at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory where she worked on many exciting projects, including: Deep Space Optical Communications, Keck Cosmic Web Imager, Multi Mission Ground Support and Services, and the Mars Rover, which is scheduled to launch this summer in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
When asked what she enjoys most about working at KKCS, Alison says, “I enjoy the KKCS family environment, as well as the responsive, dedicated individuals who help run the company. Each time I have a question or problem, I know that I'm in good hands. I always receive the support that I need, quickly.”
Outside of work, Alison enjoys running, attending spin class, lifting weights, cooking, baking for colleagues, knitting, dancing, and binging on Netflix.
