Metro - Purple Line Section 3 Utility Relocation

KKCS was responsible for the development, management, implementation and administration of the construction of the advanced utilities relocations for the third phase of the Purple Line Extension. The project will connect downtown Los Angeles to the Westside. KKCS' knowledge, management, and coordination with other agencies secured the completion of the construction of underground water, power, and communications infrastructure and relocation of their related services in a timely manner with no issues or casualties.

KKCS' Senior Director assured the satisfaction of various utilities owners and compliance with stakeholder requirements. Construction on the next phase of the tunnel project is anticipated to begin construction early 2020 with Metro operations beginning in 2026. KKCS assured that the project was conducted on schedule and within budget. Duties included managing project performance including all aspects of engineering, technical support, schedules, budgets, funding, grants management, staffing, agency reporting, and prioritizing the work. KKCS also reviewed, analyzed, and monitored the actual project performance related to budget, cost, and schedule management activities. KKCS identified problems and recommended resolutions to technical specifications, budget, cost, and schedule-related activities.
