KKCS Appoints Shan Bhattacharya as a Prinicpal

KKCS announces the appointment of Shan Bhattacharya as a principal of KKCS. We are delighted to have a senior utility and engineering executive of Shan’s caliber join our organization, says Dev Krishnan, President of KKCS. We will be looking at Shan to mentor our young staff and help us grow our business in the utility and Industrial sectors.

Prior to joining the KKCS, Mr. Bhattacharya worked for Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO), Canada as the Vice President for Transmission overseeing planning and development of the electric grid in the province of Alberta, Canada. Mr. Bhattacharya’s background also includes over 20 years of leadership positions in PGE in the area of Engineering and Planning, Asset Management, Power Generation and Fuel Procurement. Mr. Bhattacharya also spent over 10 years in various positions in large engineering, procurement and construction companies like Bechtel and TRC in areas of nuclear plants and high voltage electric transmission systems.

Mr. Bhattacharya holds a bachelor of Technology (Honors) from Indian Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University, Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. He has also completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School. Mr. Bhattacharya is a professional engineer in California and Alberta, Canada
