Gary Gordon was a featured presenter at The Transportation Infrastructure Partnership’s (TISP) 2014 Critical Infrastructure Symposium on April 7, 2014 in Colorado Springs, CO. The Symposium promotes presentations and papers from industry, academia and government that integrate policy, engineering and asset pro¬tection with economics, insurance, security and other facets needed to reach an integrated approach to critical infrastructure protection and resilience.

ACECs Become an Engineer

ACEC, in conjunction with Caltrans, annually sponsors the Become an Engineer program designed to engage high school students in a career in engineering. Engineering professionals volunteer to present a PowerPoint program which covers the different branches of engineering. In February, Joanne Kulachok, PE, of KKCS Los Angeles office presented to three groups of students at Venice High Schools Engineering Design class.

Kal Krishnan speaks to Stanford students on October 24th, 2012 as part of their CM curriculum on Small Business and a challenge to the students on Big Ideas for the future. The class is normally conducted by Gary Griggs who was President of PBQD. Being part of a prestigious institution like Stanford, Gary’s most recent focus is on teaching to a worldwide audience like in China, Viet Nam, the Middle East, Spain etc. Gary still continues to work for PB at a much reduced level, but with high enthusiasm!
