Rio Hondo College Construction & Modernization Program

With the passage of Measure A, Rio Hondo implemented its facilities master plan that provided the college with increased access, more classroom space, and critical repairs. The bond program included new construction, renovation, infrastructure improvements, and equipment upgrades over a seven-year period. Projects included a new maintenance facility, state-of-the-art police training facility, four-lane roadway which includes a bridge, multi-story library and learning resource center, and upgrades to the auto-shop building. KKCS provided inspection services in accordance with DSA requirements.
